We love carpet runners here at Art of Flooring, and this one in Halstead is no exception.
This bespoke runner, made from a Telenzo carpet, elevates the whole space and is a real statement feature.
Matt and Alex, two homeowners in Halstead in Essex, first visited our showroom in April 2024. They were preparing for an extensive renovation of their beautiful, historic property. They sought a flooring solution that would elevate the aesthetic of their home and bring functional elegance to each space.
As part of their renovation, Matt and Alex decided on a beautiful wood herringbone floor for the ground floor and a luxurious Telenzo wool loop carpet for the basement, landings and bedrooms.
The only remaining challenge was their newly installed oak staircase, which, while stunning, needed an extra touch of refinement to complement the home’s design. This part of the project was undertaken in 2025.
After carefully considering their options, Matt and Alex chose the wool loop carpet – Delft Square from Telenzo in the colour porcelain – that they'd previously chosen for the basement and had it made into a bespoke runner for their staircase.
To add a sophisticated edge to the runner, they selected a Jaspa Marylebone tape in black, which added just the right amount of contrast.
Wool loop carpet is known for its durability and tactile quality, and this bespoke wool loop runner is no different. It was expertly fitted to create a sleek, smooth finish by our skilled team of fitters.
The runner not only tied the design elements of the home together but also introduced a unique, tailored touch to the space. It's a standout feature elevating the entire aesthetic of their home while maintaining a warm and inviting atmosphere.
We think it's stunning so if you’re looking for wood flooring and carpets in Cambridge, please do come and visit us in our showroom or complete our enquiry form to see how we can help.
