A stair runner can add a pop of colour to your staircase as they come in all manor of patterns and colour. Injecting this can really elevate the look of a staircase, adding character, creating a focal point and adding interest.
Stair runners also add texture. Often being made of the very best quality wool, they add that underfoot comfort and a tactile aspect which enhances the look of stairs.
Stair runners can bring a sense of continuity and cohesion between the upstairs and downstairs, joining the spaces as one. Stair runners with width way stripes can also make narrow stairs look wider.
