Art of Flooring are delighted to announce that we are now proud sponsors of Abington United FC. We have a strong sense of community commitment, and are honoured to be able to support this football team.
This opportunity arose when the eldest son of Phil Stratton, our Operations Manager at Art of Flooring, approached us and asked for sponsorship for their team. All three of Phil’s sons are active members of the Abington United football team.
We saw this as a great opportunity to develop the partnership between business and community sports. Art of Flooring are always keen to invest in areas of the community we serve and so this proposal caught our attention.
Abington United FC is currently competing in the Cambridgeshire County League senior B and has had remarkable success with three consecutive promotions in the last three years. The team's ascent through the ranks has brought glory to the local football scene.
Phil Stratton expressed his delight at the opportunity to support Abington United FC, stating, "As a family-oriented business, Art of Flooring is proud to be associated with the remarkable journey of Abington United FC. The team's dedication, coupled with my personal connection with my sons, made this sponsorship a natural choice for us. We believe in nurturing local talent and contributing to the vibrant sports culture in our community."
The sponsorship from Art of Flooring is set to further fuel the team's ambitions, providing crucial resources for training, equipment, and facilities as they navigate the challenges of the senior B division. Residents rally behind their team's pursuit of success, and we hope that this sponsorship helps further foster a sense of unity and pride within the Abington community.
The partnership between Art of Flooring and Abington United FC reinforces the importance of corporate social responsibility and reflects a shared commitment to community development and the belief that local businesses can actively nurture sporting talent.
Abington United FC officials expressed their gratitude for Art of Flooring's support, emphasising the positive impact such partnerships have on grassroots sports. The financial backing from Art of Flooring will contribute significantly to the team's operational needs, empowering them to compete at their best and, potentially, secure even more victories in the future.
Art of Flooring is proud to be recognised as a community-driven business by both locals and football enthusiasts.
As Abington United FC prepares for the challenges of the upcoming season, the support from Art of Flooring serves as a powerful motivator. The partnership is a testament to the belief that, together, local businesses and sports can create a winning combination that uplifts the entire community.
As the team takes to the pitch, we wish them luck, and we hope our contribution can go some way to nurturing the dreams of Abington's aspiring football stars.
