Deciding what floor to get for a kitchen is relatively straight forward.
You need to think about the use it will get and the damage it will suffer, and this article is here to help you think through this..
It’s going to get wet. It’s possibly going to get scratched.
Being a kitchen, there may well be a table and chairs which might scratch the surface, and there will undoubtedly be mess from feet and spills from cooking and drinks.
With this in mind, you need something that is hard-wearing and easy to wipe up.
A top option, therefore, for a kitchen is Luxury Vinyl Tile.
It is hard-wearing.
It is resistant to water so it is easy to wipe up spills – (think washing up and dishwasher splashes or sloshed cuppas.)
It is easy to sweep up food mess - (think that person who can’t keep rice on their fork or crumbs on their plate i.e. your child, and you are constantly having to sweep up after they’ve eaten).
It comes in so many different patterns and colours, wood, stone, and herringbone. You don’t just have to have plain if you don’t want, meaning you can really make a statement with your kitchen.
It is comfortable underfoot, so bare feet will be happy too!
It is a long-lasting, cost-effective option, so for a kitchen, we couldn’t recommend it more highly!
