At Art of Flooring, sustainability is incredibly important, and when something is not as young and fresh as it was, we shouldn’t just throw it out!
This is why we like to take steps to restore and revive an old wood floor where we can.
We often come across tired and old-looking floors that have suffered years of wear and tear. With our knowledge and experience, coupled with the latest wood restoration equipment and products, we can give your floor a new lease of life.
We just love it when we can transform a floor to bring it back to its former glory, to give your home the beautiful floor it deserves.
Wood floors in particular can be prone to little scratches and dents, and after a few years of wear, it can start to look tired and dilapidated. We can change that.
Art of Flooring works closely with The Ultimate Floor Sanding Company. We only use the most up-to-date and state-of-the-art sanding machinery to sand the floor and get rid of all those blemishes and scratches.
Once the sanding work has been completed, we can then colour and oil or lacquer the floor, using products from Pallmann, who are another close affiliate of Art of Clean. This restores the healthy glow your floor would have once had, and your floor will be as good as new.
Our sister company, Art of Clean, is a Parket-Profi trained contractor and offers floor sanding in Cambridgeshire, so we can offer a two-year guarantee to our restoration works.
Sadly, there are occasions when we come across a floor that is too damaged, or has been sanded too many times and nothing can be done to improve the floor. In these instances, Art of Flooring can supply and install a brand new solid or engineered wood floor made from sustainably grown sources
